Thank you for those kind words.....I have no intention of leaving you guys, sorry but you're stuck with me...hehe...I may go AWOL for a week but I will come back.....you've been warned...LOL...

I have been helping poor hubby...I tried to warn him weeks ago but rightly so he had to find out for himself....ebay have really targetted him, it looks to me as if this is personel. Another seller who is a 'business' charges £4.99 for the same item my husband sells for 99p. This seller also states that he will email the details, where as my husband now posts them after being informed, correction the listing was removed, that emails constituted as 'digital' download. They have given him a different reason as to why every time he has asked, one being 'They don't have an explaination'...The last one was a threat of a suspension....the other guy carrys on listing...not fair...but as I said ebay does not want 99p sales so they want you out because they get more money for a £4.99 sale....Any other place this would be deemed as Victimization....We have registered elswhere but unlike me hubby is a power seller with excellent feedback...which ebay obviously doesn't read!!!! They certainly do not read my husband's emails. He even said in his last email 'What part of I post the sales not digitally download them do you not understand'...their reply 'It is against ebay policy to use digital download & failure to comply will result in your account being suspended'....must be the fact that ebay machines do not understand human language....

I have written to ask ebay why it is ok to use electronic payment methods i.e. paypal & not electronic means of sales...surely this is double standards...& if we are not allowed to us electronic means then surely only cheques & money orders should be allowed.....I won't hold my breath for a reply.

They also asked me to fill in a survey re. buying from ebay. The question was 'How Likely are you to purchase anything from ebay in the next 3 months', my reply was 'Not Likely at all'....I've pasted below their next questions & my reply, thought it might make you laugh:

QUESTION: Please tell us why you feel that way about your likelihood to purchase within the next 3 months

MY REPLY: Due to the new policies introduced recently by ebay, the majority of the excellent sellers I purchased from have either left due to the antiquated rule of no digital download or have been suspended for the same reason. As I regularly purchase from overseas I cannot afford the International p&p charges incurred due to ebay not allowing e-patterns to be sent.

QUESTION: How likely is it that you will recommend eBay to a friend or family member?
MY REPLY: Not likely at all

Not holding my breath here either.....laughable isn't it...hehe....Haven't I been sarcastic today....tut.tut. Well off to fight another day...Back sooooon Guys....The Witch (aka as Chrissy) x

Your husband's story is one buyers need to hear. It's becoming very clear that the bargains the small sellers offered on eBay are now considered competition to the favored bulk sellers with the inflated prices--

Translation: Buyers can now pay higher prices on eBay purchases so that eBay can collect more on those new Final Value Fees!

Such a deal.

Let's help spread the word...this company is NOT going to be spared the reputation it has earned over the past few months.

..........Hmmmmm...I just heard a cackle overhead and thought I saw a witch flying by with a broomstick packed with goodies to list ELSEWHERE!

Didn't think you heard me...hehe

Love the translation, it should be their new advert...and don't forget the paypal fees..
I will comprise a summary (my that sounds professional!!) of hubby's 'trial' and post it on another thread....you won't believe it. He has really tried to 'comply' by posting the codes, which is a rare occurrance believe me walking to the post box, but he did it...he's a pretty laid-back kinda guy until he's had enough....mind you I have a plan, I'll let you know if it works...hehe...or should that be cackle cackle....The Witch x
