FAIR SHAKE

I have just posted a bulletin in the support section for the Host for this forum, and since this forum belongs to ALL of us, I thought I should post it here, as well. This will show the efforts being made to address the visibility issues that are bothering some, and also will show our commitment to resisting eBay and PayPal changes. Here is a copy of my post:

freeforums was a GODSEND for our needs! THANK YOU!!!

I love so much about the flexibility of everything, and found a design I LOVE. It is "Chronicles".

We are a new forum, with TREMENDOUS growth potential. We are designed to be a network for everyone concerned with ONLINE MARKETING--in any way, launched because of the current efforts of resistance against eBay policy changes, but with plans to extend into the future, which will see a FLOOD of people trying to understand what has happened to eBay!!!

I LOVE the design of "Chronicles"---but we are getting complaints about the default yellow font, which is hard to read against the background. I am busy over-riding the default wherever I can--unfortunately, it is not possible in most places. I have offered an optional design for users who can't handle it, but there are problems there with transference of color choices from one design to another.

THE REQUESTS:

1. Could the BEAUTIFUL design of Chronicles be designed PLEASE with an alternative color for the default font instead of the pale yellow that is so hard for so many to read? That seems like it would be a simple enough change to present as an option---maybe a nice dark BROWN or BURGUNDY?????

2. Slightly off-topic, but I don't know where to post this request. Our forum is about resisting the changes at eBay, and also by PayPal, which is owned by eBay. I wanted to upgrade our forum to remove the ads and possibly increase bandwidth, etc., but find that the ONLY payment option for these upgrades is through PayPal. I CLOSED my PayPal account as part of my resistance effort, and REFUSE to allow them to have anything to do with my money anymore. Would you please provide another online payment option such as a debit card, or an address where I could send a check, or an online banking transfer from my bank account?
