Since I'm vacationing this is how I'm able to view the happenings on the bay. And this makes my vacation much better!! Those all expense paid eBay vacations are cheap contracted china junk!!

You will never need to fear being booted from here. And if you have any problems navigating, just ASK!!! We're still figuring some things out ourselves...but WE CAN ALL DO THIS!!!

If you're booted from the eBay boards---there is MUCH work to be done, and I truly believe this is the best place for it at this point. We all have SO MUCH to do....but yes---of COURSE, we need to take time to laugh--to support each other. What we have undertaken is anything but easy, but I am so impressed by the type of people this effort has drawn--intelligent, hard-working, and most with a WONDERFUL sense of humor!

We plan to be fairly rigid out in the body of the forum---don't let that scare you off---we just want to "put our best foot forward" for the public. Of course, they can access this thread too, but HERE is where it is just FINE to let down a bit! In fact, we've even contemplated a non-public room for people who feel they need to let down more than just a BIT!! It's quite possible I'm the one who thought of that, and quite possible that there are SEVERAL of us here who might take advantage of it!!!

First things first, though. --I hope both of you will make yourselves at home here at Fair Shake. We are SO HAPPY to have you join us!!! And if you find anything amiss, or have any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them.

By the way---my "boycotter" name here is HobNobby--I rarely find the time to sign in as that, because there is so much work to be done I need to be on the administrator name most of the time. But feel free to call me "Hob" if you see me around---which you WILL!!! :o)

I agree, we can't have Meg & JD bashing on the homepage. If we want to be treated as professionals, we need to introduce ourselves as professionals. If we want eBay to even turn an ear, we need to approach and act professional. We don't want to be the jokes at their morning meetings.

I do like to laugh though, it helps my horrific financial situation! It doesn't give me anymore money, it just makes it more tolerable. However, I'll save my laughs, S**ts & giggles for Happy Hour!

You can feel free to continue your conversation here, and some poor soul looking on the other thread for nuggets of inspiration might find the hopefully more "inspiring" posts more easily--lol.

I am glad to see so much humor in the Break Room! Over at Delphi Hob and I (among others) got a little carried away with our naked mole rats ... hoping we'll have some pop up here ... (I can't believe I just said that!)

Hob's doing a great job of keeping things on track and in order on this site. It was she who realized we'd need a place just like this to let loose and "chat".

I came in here specifically to see your "chat" when she mentioned the fun going on ... We are VERY glad to have you here on Fair Shake, and for helping support the boycott efforts - carry on!

I love the naked mole rats!! We need more. Those lovely creatures brighten my day. :)

Thanks everyone for organizing our silly chats! Jenny & I try to keep the thread of Mrs K's up to date on the nightshift and we've actually in the long run become pretty good partners! I saw those mole rats on Delphi, Ewwww!

If you need, or can, please delete my stupid posts in the Oak room. I was a week early! I'm a little embarrassed, but days and time seems to be running together!

I see where sabotage might be a problem for those of us using our id's from the bay. It's disconcerting, but I believe education & information will enable us all to conquer these nasty irritating trolls or bidders or problems. I'd really like to be included in any discussions on how we as a group can get buyers to the other sites. Keep me in mind ladies! I work second shift, but I am east coast, so 10 PM is not problematic. Melanie

Hi moderators! Just thought I'd drop in to tell you all, the ark had to move! We are now docking on The Front Porch forum of eBay. After Mrsks thread was removed and Bal's thread had a wonderful discussion, (not really Hazel slapstick style,) I did some research. We are put into the basement, #1 because the thread DOES not support an eBay thriving business AND OT threads are selectively placed in the basement. However I am glad to say we have been able to make progress on The Front Porch. We have assisted several sellers with other venues AND I add your web address to their email to enable them to obtain much more info than I can provide through email. I hope that's okay with you all! Well, I just wanted to let you know where 'Hazel' was and the ark. You ladies do a fantastic job and I for one THANK YOU!!! Melanie
