Weren't they an admirable bunch, though!! We have a lot to thank them for. There is STILL a long way to go for equality, but look how awful it WAS!

Women have a lot to offer, and I have met some really cool ones lately who are involved in this effort--but really, I think it is best when we have a good mix of men and women. I'm hoping more of the men will get involved here soon!

Living in the times that they did, they were very brave to go up against a male dominated society & also against opposition from their own sex.....we are still fighting in many areas but at least we can...

Yes it would be great to see more men involved here & I'm surprised there isn't. Perhaps we should invite more.....

We're working on it!

We do have Balzenawe here, who is working on a song for the effort, and also cautrell, who is the one who made the media clearinghouse (the link to it is on our front page--it's a beautiful site, and one we can all feel proud of, sending people to!). Dion Cautrell is good to work with, and has a lot to offer. He is busy with other obligations, so I don't know how much time he has to post here, but he is very dedicated, and I'm sure will step up to a task if his help is needed. I'm looking forward to working with him.

We also have Mike52t here--a GREAT guy. I met him over at Delphi, but a lot of people knew him over on the eBay boards. I don't know him well yet, but I wrote to him about what we were doing, and he came right over and joined. He's in the middle of a major move right now, I think, but hopefully we will be hearing more from him in the future. He has the GREATEST sense of humor, but also that "positive kind of testosterone" an effort like this needs, lol!!! Crazymom tells me she has heard his speaking voice, and it's very nice....hmmmmm....could there be INTERVIEWS in his future? :o)

A lot of women are involved in all this, but we need EVERYONE!!! Please recruit! We're working on it, but it takes time, and we are also putting our efforts into tweaking the site and continuing our research and work for the greater parts of the effort itself. But getting people to come to this site would be a great help--I think there are so many with so much to offer, and if we could just really start pooling our resources, we will see more accomplished in the next few weeks than we've seen in the last two months! I've been talking with an artist who I think will stop by and post some of her work here tomorrow--she made some cool looking graphics for the "noise" idea. Watch for them!
