New Online Mini Mall for small sellers

Postby maggie45 on Fri May 30, 2008 3:01 pm

If you enjoy selling but are just starting out or don't have enough items to warrant going through the trouble to set up your own website - so maybe you have a store on an auction site or ecrater, blujay, etc. - You can now have your own web presence by joining out Mini Mall.

Its FREE. Visit PENNSYLVANIA-ANTIQUES and click on the Mini Mall. It's in its early stages to we haven't made categories yet but we will when we get more members. If you click on Mishigoss you'll see how it can work.

Later we will be offering subdomains for a nominal fee where you can get a password and upload your own page / design and add paypal or google checkout buttons. Another option is just adding pictures and have them go directly to a free store host like Ecrater, which is what I do with my own products.

Anyway, we'll help you with all this - just maggie45@ptd.net.

Maggie -

Just had a look at your Mini Mall - GREAT idea! (Of course, I love that my Etsy site appears conspicuously - thanks!). Rather than calling it a "Links" page, you have added information about the links and created something very useful -- once again.

You've also changed the look of your site, and I wanted to tell you it looks very nice.

Thanks Deb. I'm working really hard on this. I think a few more people will be coming to the forum. I know there are a lot of people on some of the other forums that are small sellers and need help getting some attention.

I've made some changes today - click on the CLICK HERE - in the paragraph next to your logo - I'm not sure you did that already.

By the way, I saw that your page had 11 hits yesterday.

Any ideas on the forum, I'd love to hear them.

Maggie -

This is just AWESOME!! I hadn't clicked on that - what you've set up is so fantastic, I'm at a loss for words (a rare thing, let me tell you). I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you've done to help me out.

And all the info is CURRENT! I just added the Blythe and wedding stuff - I think - day before yesterday. And by the way -- I've been playing with logos/banner. I don't intend to keep the www. etc. one; I just left it there while I continued to play. I want it to be more calming; there's one seller on etsy who's banner I just love, but of course, I'll have to learn how to do this kind of thing. I played around with it in Photoshop for quite a while last night, and I'm kinda getting the hand of it. Check out her site; I just think her banner is very pretty, nicely done. Deby O's.

You are just awesome Maggie, thanks again for all you are doing to help the "little" guy!

Here's a link where you can get free backgrounds for banners - download the Infraview - or use Paint Shop or something like that and put some text over it - You can even layer other pictures ontop.

I'm sure you can do something just as nice or better than hers. It is nice and if you really want her exact background I can try to steal it for you LOL.

Thanks for the info Maggie -- AND the offer. I may have to get back to you on that one! (What a pal!)
