Okay, I'm on the right page now... I just wanted Joe to know that I'd send the grievance letter and have it return receipt requested... The post office is probably missing me now anyway, so it's a good reason to visit :)

This is the place-and tool, you are funny!

QUESTION ONE:
We are now at exactly 21 days/3 weeks before May 1. What is the single most impactful thing we can do at this point in time?'' Media blasts? Writing state/local reps? Picketting eBay HQ? Direct communique w/eBay execs? Thoughts, please!

I think we need to send in the grievance letter - which looks great - real soon, and let the media know that we sent it

This is an experiment for a meeting, so this first time it will just be casual, and we will make sense of it later!! :o)

I would just like to say that if you have a particular subject you think needs special consideration, feel free to post it to a separate thread in this meeting room, for people to view and comment on at their leisure---then check BACK!!! I suspect this will be somewhat of an "ongoing" meeting. Many could not make it because of the timing, and we have supporters in the UK for whom this timing is TERRIBLE!!!! But it will all be here---or SOMEWHERE obvious, so that you can look later in case you missed something.

I'm thinking we really need to focus on the media, especially since they're booting people off the boards there left and right...

Let them know that boards on ebay are being hidden in the back of the 80 pages...

No censorship???

Maggie, do we know exactly who the grievances letter will be sent to @ eBay?

Thanks, but I'm happy to stick to the point (thus far):

Ok re this meeting in this room - posts NOT going to be deleted after 1 day as it said?

I have no idea beyond trying to get the word out. I shall go find that grievance letter & mail it, and replace one of the links in my signature with a link to that letter for others for a while.

I agree with debipier, I think the media is the fastest way to reach an astronomical number of people with information

Truthfully, I do not want to be a downer so soon into the meeting, but refreshing every few seconds on dial-up is very slow, and then you have to go to the current page. I will try to hang in, but not sure how long I can, so I may not be able to actually contribute much.

Sales are down at ebay and sellers who don't know about the boycott are asking questions.
We are making an impact.
I think we just have to keep doing what we have been doing,,,writing the media, posting, sending emails,,what ever
