LOL Balz........you didnt tick me off. (Carol maybe because she had to listen to me lol) I had just revised it 12 times and was seeing it in my sleep. That was all. This document had input from hundreds of people on the First Thread and through separate emails I received. This was the collaboration of everyone with Balz, Joyflsong, Samcat (Jim and Dee) Schmoopie and myself (Lysol) To everyone here, Your comments made the "tears" all worthwhile. Thank you all.

Hi Manor, please pm me for further details, as I am fairly certain there are moles about, here as everywhere else, and we do not want to give a heads-up to people who might thwart the effort.

Meanwhile, I will update everyone here and at other principle sites publically by Tuesday, possibly sooner, thanks!

We will need a lot of collective help this week and will make that info available at the same time.

Much work ahead of us yet, but I feel very positive and invigorated about what has been accomplished and what we'll all get done in the days ahead!

Joe- very well written! I'll agree with the date the majority chooses- but i must add a bit of information ... I've posted something here that someone emailed me ... it's an american ebayer who posted on the Ebay Australia forum. I've checked out much of what is going on there as well. The Austrailians are preparing a petition regarding paypal to be given to one of their gov't agencies (?) on MAY 2ND...... coincidence??
I tracked it using the american ebayers user name (slipoflip)--- BUT.... THE PERSON THAT APPEARS TO BE IN THE POSITION TO PUT THINGS IN ORDER FOR THE Aussie ebayers is pasted below: Would it be a good idea to co-ordinate both countries to work as a unit-which is something i'm sure Ebay would never expect. They've taken us for fools this long.... maybe it's time to surprise them. And if we have any other countries working along the same lines- (forget china and india)- what would all think.?

an IMPORTANT ADDITION TO ADD

This is also another part of the Australia Ebay Forum board i found connected- and it very much reminds me of the Ebay Seller's Forum board- from whence all of you put toghether ...
Personally- I Believe this makes for one heck of surprise -as i see no way that ebay or paypal is going to cooperate since they have the rest of the world with their backs to the corner- but i don't think ebay and or paypal will expect a UNITED ATTACK FROM THE FRONT! (Below - again - i've cut, copied and pasted"

Here we go again No numbers this time guys. Simply jot down your name and any comments you feel are valid to you.

Because you are a valued seller we'd like to let you know about some changes to eBay.com.au that are going to make our marketplace an even safer place for you to buy and sell.

These changes will be introduced in two stages:

From 21 May you must offer PayPal on all your listings as well as currently permitted payment methods.
From 17 June you will only be able to offer PayPal on your listings and pay on pick up (i.e.paid for when picking up the item).

Pay on pick up can only be offered in conjunction with PayPal. No other payment methods will be permitted.

A small number of exclusions will apply to these changes.
Get the lowdown on how these changes will affect you.

Hello, DDiver2 - Welcome to Fair Shake!

Where are you selling now, might I ask? We like to know where others are finding success. It helps everyone move on - which is what we're all about.

I didn't have a store on eBay, and was just one of the small "flea market" sellers. All the auctions I had running when Donahoe made his infamous announcements in January ended, and I packed up and left. I refuse to buy or sell on eBay again. They still have the most traffic, but it doesn't have to stay that way!

Good luck to you - and again, welcome to Fair Shake.

Debbie
