USING YOUR PM (personal mail) BOX

Postby gladhand on Wed Mar 19, 2008 7:30 pm

You may send a private email or private response to individual posts at any time by clicking the PM button at the bottom of your screen, or by clicking "PM" next to any name on the memberlist. You will find folders for Inbox, Sentbox, Outbox and Savebox. Messages in your Outbox are those not yet seen or opened by your recipient. Once opened by him or her, they will auto-transfer to your Sentbox.

Do not delete or move to another folder any messages in your Outbox, as they have not been seen yet by your recipient. Once they auto-move to your Sentbox, they have then been read and may be deleted or moved to your Saved Messages folder.

You also have the option of recieving automated notification via email of any new messages in your personal mailbox, as well as any replies to posts you've made. Simply go to your profile to activate auto-notifcation, I highly recommend this!

Thanks for that information! I hadn't figured out part of that myself...understanding the difference between "sent" and "outbox"--always nice to know when your message has actually been RECEIVED. :o)
