I have no idea how many hours difference there is between the GMT and our Mountain time zone .. if someone could let me know the answer for
Eastern Standard time, I could take it from there.

Thank You!

GMT

This will tell you the time difference for Eastern Time:

http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-z ... tern-time/

For others, just go to

http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com

and it should automatically tell you the difference for your time zone.

No more automatically adjusting in your head for everyone's different time zones! After each user sets up their own time zone in their profile, it should simplify using this board!

Great Question, and one that was already on our list to post. We are working non-stop, trying to improve this forum. Thank you for your patience.

Welcome, Dee! We hope you'll be able to spend time with us, and that you'll find the site useful. Please do invite anyone you think would be interested. This site is for ALL aspects of online auctions, as well as the current boycott - pro or con. It's our hope we can bring all the groups together in one place. Thanks for being a part of it!

Is there any chance someone could change the colour scheme slightly. I find the yellow on brown parchment combo is next to unreadable. I dread to think what partially-sighted folks find. Thanks!

I am sorry, imagia. That is a concern we are aware of, and have found no way to remedy. I might suggest that you try to adjust your monitor settings for more contrast, or to lighten or darken to see if it helps. Sometimes there are adjustment buttons on the monitor itself, and sometimes you can adjust through the control panel on your computer.

If you find something you can't read, try highlighting it or "selecting" it. Most of the parts that are hard to read are things that once you KNOW what they say, you will not need to read regularly. If you continue to have problems in the future, please let us know, and we will continue to investigate possible solutions as time allows. We want this forum to be comfortable for you in every way. I hope you will be patient with us as we try to fine-tune it.

Hello :),

When I first joined (am proud to be the first "official" member) :) .. I was told that you would post "Jim & Dee's Info Page".
http://home.comcast.net/~jimiam007/site/?/home/

It is a great web site set up by Samanthacat. It has links to media news outlets from all 50 states (news papers, t.v. stations) and some National news outlets as well as links to recent news articles, links to find your senators and Congressman, a sample letter to send to the media and Congress ..
plus much more, including links to many seller venues. It truly is a great resource page for anyone who is boycotting.

There is even a link to Fair Shake :)!

Just thought I'd ask .. perhaps I missed it. But, if I missed it, so will others.

Thank You !

Dee, I am so sorry if I didn't make things clear to you about this site. Those early days were very hectic! While this site is somewhat of an information clearinghouse, just as the accknowl site is a media clearinghouse, we expect this site to become quite large, and it will be the responsibility of people using the site to post and maintain their posts by giving information, and answering questions. With the accknowl site you submit the item, and Dion Cautrell posts it for you. But we encourage you to promote and maintain the post for your own site here, as we simply do not have the manpower to do all the posting ourselves.

I have gone ahead and posted the link, but it would be great if you would add something to it explaining what your site is about, and so on. We appreciate your support tremendously, and would never intend to slight you! If you come across information you think would be helpful to have here, I hope you will feel free to post in the various places around the site. Thank you. Here is the post linking your site:

http://fairshake.freeforums.org/ebay-bo ... s-f32.html

I encourage you to also post a link to your site in "The File Room" on this forum, under "Links to Boycott & Resistance Groups" as a new topic:

http://fairshake.freeforums.org/links-t ... s-f44.html

I'm glad you brought this up! We would not have wanted to be without a link to your very nice site!
