Hello Debbie and all,

thank you for the nice words, we will do our most possible one

hello Jim to all, this with the media contact is a very good idea. Unfortunately, I am no good writer, because the suitable and appropriate words do not occur, unfortunately to be taken seriously in a newspaper. An interview I would agree with support of You with pleasure. In general I am a very direct person with steady principles. Legend always what I think and not the person other what want to hear. Today, besides, our last purchase day is in Ebay and tomorrow we boycott personally with You together Ebay.

Together we are strong!

lots of love Detlef

Detlef and Margit started the German Boycott eBay Forum on Apr. 4, 2008 saying the same things that are written in the greeting page of the Fairdeal-Germany Forum: http://www.fairdeal-germany.de/Diskussi ... hreadID=17

The next post was made on April 5, 2008, and in it they respond to a poster who says that boycotting is useless and has never worked. Keep in mind that this post was written before we made contact with him. Yet look how similar his conclusions about eBay and the need to boycott are.

hello monza30,

Should that mean, that just because it has brought nothing for many years, we should give up and resign suddenly? I don't know now, what was meant by "fighting," but to only write in forums, or to write to Ebay does not suffice alone. We have written to Ebay already long since, but it has brought simply nothing for many years. They would rather have suggestions for improvement from members, so that they can raise their volume of sales still further. As thanks for it, members receive increases in fees, and they put them (members) in a good mood again with small presents and butter them up with nice words.

Conceded, there are always totally selfish people everywhere, who never want change. That is surely also a reason, why buyers and sellers should boycott here together. In the first place to balance this out, and secondly to lower the volume of sales a bit. There will be also persons with firm principles, who do not think so selfishly. Only with boycott can something be changed, there is no other possibility. Only in one way can we convince Ebay: if it is about money ... otherwise Ebay reacts only if it must.

Like I said (earlier), many buyers are also sellers, and would only harm themselves (by buying) and would quickly come to realize, what kind of disadvantages the new feedback system will have for them also. Buyers can surely buy in other auction houses, and ascertain, that there are also many Schnäppchen (good bargains), often better priced, because there are still very very many buyers missing, who Ebay would naturally like to hold on to. With anyone who believes that Ebay changes the feedback system, only for the reason that it is allegedly more just and to make it fairer, lies something wrong. The buyer will be given only a feeling of power at that time, to bind them to eBay, until eBay decides to make a scapegoat of the buyers (instead of as they now do with the sellers.) Think once to understand what I would like to say with that.

Which success the boycott will bring, depends on you all, buyers like sellers and farthest countries will be joined.

Sincerely, Margit and Detlef
